Murakami Transforms Children's National Hospital

Takashi Murakami recently took to Instagram to share photos of his signature artworks filling up a room at the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. With his creative effort, the artist aims to contribute to the wellbeing and improved experience for patients, service users and staff alike. Murakami’s iconic Flowers and other characters are embellished across the walls, doors and other sections of the room including a CT/PET scanner. The Children’s National Hospital is considered to be one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the country, as per U.S. News & World Report. Last year, the hospital treated over 219,000 children from stateside and across the globe.
