(Polish, 1951 - 2007)
Thomas Pradzynski was born in Lodz, Poland in 1951. He studied art at the Lycee Francaise in Warsaw for several years before receiving a master’s in sociology and economics. In 1977 he moved to Paris, France with his wife Joanna, where he fine-tuned his style of Parisian street scenes. His inspiration was stemmed from the idea that art would capture beauty as it was before it faded. Spending decades in Paris to perfect his work Pradzynski was able to use the city as his outlet in order to create stunning images of streets and alleys.
The artist has been represented in several galleries over 25 years in Japan, Canada, and the United States over many exhibitions. His pieces have also intrigued celebrities, politicians, and well-known individuals such as actor Denzel Washington, former Secretary of Defense Casper Weinberger, and writer Jackie Collins.
